MIHG PILOT PLANT UPDATE

During June, the hydrogen separation system including gas holder, syngas compressor, pressure swing adsorption unit and related piping and instrumentation achieved Mechanical Completion and begun Commissioning operations. Several runs have already been completed with the full system in operation to produce hydrogen. The hydrogen compressor, for filling gas bottles has also been installed and operated.

The fittings to enable connections and filling of gas bottles with purified compressed hydrogen have just arrived on site from Coregas and will be installed and operated in July. Over the coming several months the Wildfire team will be working to optimise the system operations and to have the purity of the hydrogen tested and certified. This may take a little while, as the hydrogen purity requirements, especially for fuel cell vehicles, are quite demanding.

Also, during June, several runs have been completed using Construction and Demolition waste, which was destined for landfill. C&D waste is one of the key commercial waste streams that Project Proton is being designed to process. The pilot plant runs are being used to confirm the performance of the MIHG reactor when processing C&D waste.

AUSTRADE CLEAN ENERGY MISSION TO SINGAPORE

Wildfire participated in the Austrade Clean Energy Mission to Singapore in June, run by NERA, which was a great experience and lead to positive relationship building. Wildfire is actively developing collaborations with several organisations based in Singapore - stay tuned for further updates!
