Upcoming Dates

October 27th: Hudson Trunk R Treat: We will be holding Hudson Trunk R Treat at Parkers Lake Playfields - the location has been posted in Band and below

October 28th: NO CLASS: Please join us at the following class options as a makeup (if you come to class twice a week - otherwise please join us on Wednesday at your regularly scheduled time)

• Advanced Beginner: Tuesday 4:45pm

• Novice: 5:00 - 6:00pm

• Beth’s Trad Set Class: 6:00pm on Wednesday Oct 30th

• PC: Tuesday: 7:00pm

October 31st: NO CLASS: Happy Halloween

November 4th - 9th: Costume Week: We will double check costume sizes, shoes and any other costume needs. Beginners and Novice Dancers please wear your Hudson Costume to the studio during that we so we can check you off.

November 9th & 15th: Dad’s Dance Practices. We will be performing at the upcoming Showcase. If you would like to participate please join us for the following practices - more information will be posted on Band

• 11/22: Hudson Showcase Rehearsal

November 10th: First Time Oireachtas Dancers Meeting: This meeting will be held over Zoom on Sunday November 10th from 4:30 - 5:00pm. We will present you with Oireachtas Information and then open the floor for Questions

November 15th: Feis Class

• Beginners: 5:00 - 5:45pm

• Novice: 5:45 - 6:30pm

• PW/PC/OC: 6:15 - 7:15pm

   

November 16th - 17th: Mall of America Feis: Last day to sign up without a late fee is Oct. 27th

November 22nd: Hudson Showcase Rehearsal

November 23rd: Hudson Showcase

November 27th - December 3rd: NO CLASS: Hudson at Oireachtas

Showcase Information

HUDSON SHOWCASE: NOVEMBER 23RD

Showcase will be held at Providence Academy in Plymouth.

Doors at 3:15pm

Show Begins at 4:00pm

Dancers Call Times

Oireachtas Soloist: Please arrive by 1:45pm for set rounds.

Oireachtas Trad Set Dancers: Please arrive by 2:45pm for set rounds

All Hudson Dancers: Arrive by 3:00pm

This is an all school, full costume show! We will have a costume week at the studio November 4th - 9th.

Tickets for the Showcase are available on our website TODAY! Please purchase your ticket for $10 online and $15 at the door. We will have a raffle drawing, all money raised by raffle tickets will help our dancers and coaches prepare to attend the World Championships in Dublin. You will be able to purchase raffle tickets at the Studio and Day of the Event.

HUDSON SHOWCASE REHEARSAL: NOVEMBER 22ND

The rehearsal will be held at Wayzata Central Middle School.

• 5:45 - 6:00: Arrival for all Non Oireachtas Soloist Dancers. Begin promptly at 6:00pm

• 6:45 - 7:00: Arrival for all Oireachtas Soloists. Begin promptly at 7:00pm

 Hudson Trunk R Treat

We are so looking forward to celebrating Halloween with all of you this week on Sunday October 27th. We will be holding our Trunk R Treat event at the Plymouth Playfields. It is about 5 mins up the road from the Studio and will provide plenty of space for all of us to celebrate together!

We will be voting on everyone’s Trunks and giving out prizes for

1. The Spookiest

2. The Most Creative

3. The Silliest

Treating will begin at 5:00pm! Voting will conclude at 6:00pm!

Spiritwear Update

The wait is OVER! Thank you all for your patience in our Spiritwear Roll out! We are very excited to announce that we will not only be creating our Spiritwear in house but we are also doing a collaboration with Feisty Fitzy!

Spiritwear at the Studio: We have samples of all of our available Spiritwear at the studio for you touch and try on. We will begin taking orders the Week of October 28th

Feisty Fitzy: The site is live! Please go to feistyfitzy.com and go to the school collaboration tab and click on ‘Hudson Irish Dance’. We have a sample of all of the Feisty Fitzy products available at the studio for you to touch and try on.
