ARMA Members I want to say thank you to everyone involved in InfoCon 2022: HQ staff, volunteers, sponsors, speakers, and attendees! We had over 800 attendees representing 25 countries from around the globe. There was truly an International flavor this year, from A to (almost) Z! I talked with folks from Australia, Canada, Ghana, Iceland, Oman, Netherlands, and the UK. It was fitting that we welcomed to the stage our partners from RIMPA Global, Anne Cornish, CEO, and Thomas Kaufold, Chair, to help us announce our joint initiative to establish an international consortium to be the voice of information governance globally. We leveraged our time together at InfoCon 2022 to meet with focus groups to discuss the purpose, benefits, and value of a global consortium relating to information governance, records, and data in hopes we can advocate with a more prominent voice and guide the development of standards and pathways for the profession. The participation and support of our ARMA community continue to make this event a success year after year! TRMA members are invited to become candidates for ARMA International Board of Directors positions. For this election cycle, the Election Committee will be filling the following two positions beginning July 1, 2023: President: serves a one-year term as president-elect that begins on July 1, 2023, moves to the president for a one-year term and serves the final one-year term as immediate past president/chair of the board. The position concludes on June 30, 2026.
Director: serves a three-year term, from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026. Nominations, including self-nominations, are due by November 23, 2022, to Board.Affairs@armaintl.org. Candidate materials, in accordance with the instructions provided in the Candidacy Submission Requirements, are due by December 7, 2022. | | Chapter Dues Changes Each chapter has the right to charge what they determine is appropriate for membership in the chapter. Any changes to your chapter dues must be submitted to ARMA online through the Chapter Dues Update Form. This form should only be submitted for any changes made to your chapter dues at the beginning of a new fiscal year. If your chapter dues are remaining the same no form needs to be submitted. The deadline to submit all dues changes is by June 1st annually. Please note that all members of a respective chapter will be charged the same dues amount established by that chapter, regardless of individual membership level | | |
