Slowing down to speed up đ |
The last month at Be the Earth has been a little slower and quieter, with most of the team taking time off to enjoy the summer as well as creating space to deepen our roots within our internal processes and systems. As an organisation that is intentionally moving closer and closer to nature every day, we are aiming to move more with nature's rhythms, allowing the ebbs and flows as they come, and most of all, tending to the soil of the organisation so that our roots can grow deeper and we can truly flourish! This month we are sharing with you some exciting opportunities, announcements and stories that we hope will stir some inspiration within you for the month ahead as we descend into the beautiful and gentle season of Autumn đ |

Be the Earth x Lush Spring Prize đ¸ |
We are excited to announce that we are once again partnering with Lush Spring Prize for 2023, offering the award of Ancient and Indigenous Wisdom! The ÂŁ200,000+ Lush Spring Prize fund and other support activities seeks to build capacity for those bringing life back to damaged land and oceans, helping to leave the world Lusher than they found it. In a world shaped by (historic and current) oppressive colonial and patriarchal structures, the Ancient and Indigenous Wisdom award, supported by Be the Earth, honours the necessity and relevance of traditional and ecological knowledge, as well as ancestral and indigenous nature-based practices. You can nominate a regenerative project or apply for a Spring Prize at springprize.org. Applications for the 2023 Lush Spring Prize are open until the 19th September 2022! |

⨠Astrological Insights for September â¨with Bruna Maia |
New Moon in Virgo On this New Moon in Virgo, we're being summoned to reconnect to the precise details of our lives. This is a time for cleansing old energy and preparing our environment for more dedicated service. Virgo is here to bring out the Healer of Form in all of us. This is an excellent time to make lists, schedule a clothing swap with your community, or create a new detailed plan for all the projects you'd like to harvest in the coming months. Virgo says: "I seek myself through committed service." The shadow of Virgo is that we can be critical and judgemental of ourselves in the process of driving towards perfection. If you find yourself stuck in an analytical space, call upon the soul-centered ruler of Virgo, The Moon. She reminds us about the importance of healthy habits towards self-care. You deserve to care for yourself first, so you can then be of service to others. |
