“Giving in the Garden” & “Operation Saturation”

Along with the rest of the nation,

our community continues to experience the impact of the COVID 19 Pandemic.   Food Pantries here in Chicago are doing their best to keep up with the increased demand.  Westlawn Youth Network (WYN) has responded to

this need by instituting

“Giving in the Garden” & “Operation Saturation”

“Giving in the Garden” distributes gift boxes weekly to the families of our youth from our community garden, “Garden of Hope”.  The gift boxes are filled with Healthy Food, Family Bible Study Materials, Art & Family projects, Gospel Tracks, Bracelets, Invitations to fellowship and School Supplies.  In this way our WYN staff continue to connect with our youth and their families during this time when we are not able to run our full programs because of the Pandemic.

“Operation Saturation” distributes these gift boxes throughout the neighborhood by delivering them door to door.

Please pray with us for those who are suffering that they will sense God’s love and grace through “Giving in the Garden” and “Operation Saturation”.  Please also pray for our safety and the safety of our neighborhood as we are affected by the virus and street violence. Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support as we continue to try our best to creatively demonstrate God’s Kingdom in these unprecedented times.
