Dear Friends, This Tuesday, we set out on a new path, literally and figuratively. We will begin the 4th year of having a physical presence by opening a new location. This new path leads to our continued mission of providing a space for peace, comfort and hope for all, with special emphasis on those who do not attend traditional church for whatever reason, those who feel spiritual but not religious, and those who seek a deeper connection with God than they've found elsewhere. The literal path to our new place begins behind St. Francis Episcopal Church, 1101 Rock Prairie Rd., College Station. Though we are not a part of the church, their hospitality has already made us feel at home as we lease their former education building. Park in their lot, walk to the right of the church building and follow the path that wraps around the office building first to the left then back to the right! We'll have signs soon. We look forward to this new space and hope to see you there! And stay tuned for the dates of an opening celebration! |

A most grateful thank you There are not adequate words to express our gratitude to the many volunteers who turned out from Sept. 16-29 to help get Middleway moved to its new location. From packing the previous location, caravaning to the new, helping at the big workday with St. Francis folks to paint and clean, unpacking box after box after box, arranging our belongings, hanging pictures and TVs, installing our new lock, and donating supplies, you demonstrated the backbone of our 100 percent volunteer community in a huge way. It was especially touching to see volunteers meet others whose time at Middleway had not previously overlapped and quickly become friends. We're proud of the community we are and your part in it. Thank you! |

Brazos Valley Gives - OCT. 15! Because of your generosity, we continue to provide a free space of peace, comfort and hope to all seekers in the area. As we move into our 4th year, we want to grow in relationship with you. We'd like to hear what is most meaningful for you and what other topics in spirituality you'd like to explore. And if you are inclined to help us continue this monastery, consider participating in our Brazos Valley Gives campaign. We will share more information about the giving day, which is Oct. 15 this year. |
