We informed you during the summer that our prices would be going up in January 2024 and sadly that time is now nearly upon us.
April 2022, was when we implemented our last price adjustment. We understand that news of a new price increase is never welcomed, but it has become necessary for our business.
This new price increase will be effective as of January 2024.
Being a family-run business, we share the same challenges as businesses of all sizes, with escalating operational expenses affecting our bottom line. Despite the many hurdles that the last two years have presented us with, Phil and Sarah the owners of HMB, have absorbed substantial personal costs during events such as our venue transition at the close of 2022 and the commencement of 2023, as Phil and Sarah wanted to spare you from any additional financial burdens after what was already a tough time in the face of recovering from the impact of Covid. We have now been operating HMB out of the Garden Centre for one whole year come January, and as we all clamber onto our feet again we are forced to step in tune with the current financial landscape.
At HMB, we pride ourselves on our exceptional team, many of whom operate on a self-employed basis, and their own personal costs have also risen. We've persevered in delaying this adjustment in our fee's, for as long as possible - hoping to shield you and all our customers from the impact for as long as could. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
