BLURB CONTENTS

‘’On a dark, eerie night, a surfer takes his chances surfing on the dark blue sea as the moon shines bright at him, as if... a warning. His great experience and confidence in surfing works against him; he thinks he can beat the aggressive night waves below the black sky. But aggressive waves aren't all he will encounter on this gloomy night: an unforgettable experience will happen that will change his view on life forever.

Do you believe in miracles?’’

FALLEN SURFER

Extract:

''I see something lurking in the cold, dark blue surroundings. I notice the lighthouse light shining round and round, it comes over me every couple of seconds. It’s dark, it’s blurry; every few moments, the light would pass and I would get a better glimpse within the shiny gold light. The shadow is stalking closer to me, as it gets closer, it gets bigger.''

DID YOU KNOW?

Sharks have been misunderstood for decades if not centuries. Ever since the fictional movie 'Jaws' was released, it became a popular trend to catch and kill the largest specimen and most endangered species of shark world-wide. Scientists, conservationists and other experts, animal enthusiasts too, are urging the world to protect these beautiful and crucial species. Now more then ever, sharks need our help: it's estimated that 200-250 MILLION sharks are killed each year from fishing, shark finning and other horrendous acts.

Help me and my mission to protect our precious planet and nature by signing these petitions and sharing my posts.

To help protect sharks, it can be as simple as signing a petition and sharing a post or as big as writing a book and creating an educative program. Or in my case, write a short story and a blog about the misunderstood, gentle nature of sharks. In fact, sharks play one of the most important roles within the oceans natural systems.

Did you know sharks act as the oceans vultures: eating scraps of corpses and even controlling the population of many species and maintaining coral reefs?
