What A Week At Chaviva!

On Tuesday morning, September 4th, Chaviva High School

officially opened its doors for our first day of school!

We are blessed to have 10 amazing girls who make up our founding class of

9th and 10th graders.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Rabbi Gross

for joining our girls on their first day of school and speaking to them after davening.

Rabbi Gross described the value that the Torah places on each Jew as a unique individual, a beautiful message for Chaviva, where we embrace and appreciate each student's individuality.

Orientation, Chaviva Style.

Prior to the start of school, Chaviva hosted its staff and students for interactive and informative orientations.

Staff members had the opportunity to hear from the administration

about the unique vision and mission of our school and then worked collaboratively with each other, creating the dynamic team spirit that is

vital to the success of our students.

There were special presentations by both our social worker and academic coach, as well as an important safety training led by Mr. Jeff Robertson of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland's security team.

Our girls spent their orientation getting trained on their Chromebooks as well as the day to day schedules and expectations of a Chaviva student. The most important part of the morning was when the students had the opportunity to meet their teachers and take part in a team building activity to “build bridges” with their teachers in true Chaviva fashion.

Chaviva students leave their mark!

In the week before school started, all Chaviva students were invited to spend a few hours adding color and life to their new school building!

Our girls made inspirational posters and signs with beautiful passukim and motivating messages!
