July started with celebrating the birthday of the USA with visits from family and friends, travels to NYC, and the enjoyment of good conversations while consuming wonderful food.
The July Virtual Market was cancelled, but great news, on Saturday, July 27, I have an artist tent at the Old Lyme Arts District's Midsummer Festival, where I will be selling some of my paintings. Very exciting! It's been a few years since I last participated in an in-person vendor market or arts festival. In preparation, I bought a small canopy tent (see pictures below), happily pulled paintings out of storage to sell at the event, and I will be selling my new greeting cards here too. Find more info this Midsummer Festival on my Events page.
August 7 - 12, there is a new virtual market on Facebook where I will live stream demonstrations of my art process. The demo schedule is TBD, so check my Events page or my Facebook page in August for the schedule.
Lastly, on Tuesday, July 9, I picked up my two pieces that were in the Guilford Art League's Spring show and dropped off two new ones for their Summer show. The Summer show will be on view at Guilford's community center until October.
