Thank you to the artists who displayed artwork for our 6th Annual Juried Show on June 1st and 2nd. The show featured one hundred and twelve entries for judging and awards. Judges Jane Penfield, Andy Yelenak and Wendy Eloquent shared their experience and expertise with us by adjudicating the work for the exhibit and awards.

A big shoutout to the SRA Board and volunteers for the highly attended two-day show. SRA is pleased to host the Juried Art Show each year and this show was over the top. An immense amount of time and energy was required to bring it to fruition. Hats off to the Board Chairs and their committees who worked tirelessly for its success.

Included in the fabulous artwork displayed were artisans Brian McQuillan (Metal Sculpture), Nan Hulbert (Tangled Vine Jewelry), Laura Salerno (Pottery) and Sandy Howell (Author), who displayed their work for visitors to enjoy and purchase.

Three emerging student artists from Minnechaug High School also showcased their artwork: Victoria Harrington, Lindsay Labadorf and Abby Pastore.

Thank you to our musicians who played both days of our show. On Saturday, visitors and artists enjoyed keyboard music played by Patrick Cowles.

On Sunday, leading up to the reception and awards ceremony, well-known musician Chuck Bentley brought the captivating melodic sound of jazz into the room.

SRA is looking forward to 2025 and another Juried Show. All artisans should plan on displaying their art in each of our shows and continue to support our thriving artisan organization.

Congratulations to the award winners!
