We opened Lauren Gunderson's Silent Sky at Asolo Repertory Theatre last weekend! The production, which runs through March 5, 2023, is among the first to feature a Hard of Hearing (HoH) actor (Kendra Jo Brook) portraying Henrietta Leavitt, a groundbreaking astronomer who experienced progressive hearing loss in her life. We cultivated a partnership with the Hearing Loss Association of Sarasota to provide expertise institution-wide at Asolo to ensure we could support everyone's access needs in the rehearsal room as well as in the audience.
