Act 1: My Work | Act 2: Astro Weather | Act 3: Your Work |
|
|
Dear my friend, The Sun and the Moon are in their monthly embrace – this time, in the sign of the Fishes. This particular Pisces new moon is quite a special one for seeding your new dream, your new idea or project. Speaking of which, before I get into the astro, I want to put this out there to you:
Act 1:
I'm looking for a J.O.B. Actually, I've been actively, diligently, consistently applying and submitting for jobs for over a year! It took me a while to figure out how to translate my life-long 'alternative' career trajectory into a proper resume. Yet, even so there has been nothing but the sound of crickets... the silent rolling of tumbleweeds across the desolate terrain... an occupational ghost-town. Art and music aside, I have a ton of excellent knowledge that would be super useful in a range of fields! I have tons of skills, loads of talents and abilities, and a drive, diligence and attitude that would be a highly valuable asset to any variety of work spaces (decries the humble career warrior)!
But let's face it my friend, it's not what you know but who you know. So if you happen to catch wind of an opportunity, a company or organization that might consider hiring a formerly untraditional, currently keen badass, in exchange for a bi-monthly decent salary, I would be thrilled to send you my resume. Some of the industries I've been exploring are – operations, logistics, admin, publishing... but I'm open to considering pretty much anything that isn't "sales". I would ideally love to work remotely from my computer. However, I would consider relocating just about anywhere for the right position. So if an opportunity happens to come to mind I'd be very grateful to hear from you about it! Regardless, you can always reply to this email for a chat. I love hearing from you anyways. And thanks!
Ok, let's dive into the current sky: |

|
As I was saying, my friend, Pisces season is a fertile time for conjuring next new beginnings under 'normal' circumstances. But this year is the first time since the year 1856 that Jupiter (the ancient ruler of Pisces) and Neptune (the modern ruler of Pisces) are meeting up together in their favorite sign and home. |
|
|
Jupiter – the Roman name for the Greek Sky God, Zeus – is called the Greater Benefic in astrology, known to bring support, abundance, good fortune, good cheer and good tidings. Jupiter expands and magnifies anything it has contact with in the heavens, in lovely ways! Neptune – Roman for the Greek Sea God, Poseidon – relates to the intangible, ineffable urge for transcendence from the earthly realm; the dissolving of boundaries and limitless potentiality. Neptune can bend our perception of 'reality', opening up deep fathoms of imagination as well as fogging up our glasses, engulfing us into a floating formless fantasy - for better or for worse.
So, you can see why this Pisces empty-moon is ripe for conceiving new dreams. Chances are, with these two heavy-weight planets sharing a homecoming in their beloved, yin, mutable hydro-home, some sort of fertility is percolating in your life these days... If you don't already know what that is, I'll bet you'll catch a glimpse of its illumination on the March 18th Virgo full moon!
What part of your life is this happening in? Where is the Pisces part of your birth chart? That depends entirely on your individual astrology. Curious? Let's check it out!

Act 3:
Here is your homework for the Pisces new moon, should you choose to accept it:
At some point in the next day or two, take a moment to sit quietly and listen to the percolations of your soul. What new little spark is tickling your fancy? What wee nudge is tugging at your heart? Give your critical brain a time-out, so you have the space to let the swirl of possibility surround you. This is a time to indulge the dream, to pop the lid on your imagination. And to sit in that feeling, that vibration for a little while.
And/or, put your phone in airplane mode, turn off all the lights and have a real good Pisces new moon cry. Works for me! Ha!
Then, at next full moon on March 18th, tell me what of it has been illuminated for you. |
|
|
Till then, I'm wishing you an indulgent, dreamy lunation, my friend.
Adios and namaste.
Love, .mg |
