It's been far too long since my last newsletter and I plan to do better moving forward! It's been just about 8 months since moving to Nigeria and I'm still working on getting settled into a routine that is maintainable long-term. I am returning to Texas the first week of March to fundraise. I plan to be home through the end of June and I'm still looking for more opportunities to speak to new churches and share about my ministry. Let me know if there is a church you think might be interested and I will reach out! |

At the end of August, I was able to move into the apartment downstairs which was a major upgrade from my original living space. Over the past few months I have slowly been having furniture made and getting a few necessary repairs done. Being able to have electricity 24/7 has been the biggest blessing of all though! |

Unfortunately, during this time, the government decided to expand and pave the road that I live on. That meant tearing down my compound wall. I have made adjustments to accommodate for the lack of security now, and I think I am finally at a place where there really isn't anything to worry about, all things considered. |

Cornerstone Christian Schools |
|
|
The 2023-2024 school year started in mid-September with the addition of our secondary school, Cornerstone Christian College. At the primary school, we hired several new teachers in September and have finally been able to complete our staff this January. We have never had trouble finding teachers in the past, but this year has been a struggle. Keep us in your prayers as we continue to train the new teachers and raise both of our schools to higher standards. |

I have waited 10 years to celebrate Christmas with the kids at A Place of Hope and it couldn't have been a better day! It took about three hours to hand out all of the gifts and let everyone take pictures with Father Christmas. With the graduates that were able to come home, we had 106 kids present on Christmas morning. The joy on every single one of their faces is something I will never forget! |

Charlie got two new brothers for the new year! Back in November I was there for the birth of these sweet kittens and always planned on adopting one of them. But when the time came, I didn't want him to be alone, so I decided to bring two of them home. |

They have been such a fun addition to the family! I took all the decorations off the Christmas tree before they moved in, but I haven't been able to bring myself to take the tree down yet because they have so much fun chasing each other in it. |

2 BIGGEST NEEDS: Monthly Support & Prayer |
|
|
I am currently working to secure full monthly support. Please prayerfully consider partnering with me through a monthly, tax-deductible donation. Consistent support through prayers is also vital when serving on the mission field. Knowing that I have friends and family back home who keep me in their prayers means more than you'll ever know. |
