We are excited to share that our postcards for our upcoming postcard campaign are making their way out over 19 different locations from the Maritimes to British Columbia (and everywhere in between) where they will be distributed to even more women! Stay tuned for more details! |

On August 7, 2021 we held our first FYI Public Event, that was successful! A group of us went out and engaged with a variety of different people. We handed out flyers and had a very good response! What was even more clear than before is how little the public knows about what's happening, thanks to the media blackout. We will be hosting more pop-up FYI Public events in the future. |

Women Matter Canada is keeping track on our website of which politicians sign and refuse to sign on our website so you and others know where they stand. |

Declaration on Women's Sex-Based Rights |

The WHRC is a growing international organization with chapters all over the world. Recently WMC has become a proud signatory to the Declaration on Women's Sex-Based Rights. We encourage as many women as possible to read, sign, and share this global declaration. |

The UN Commission on the Status of Women had a call-out for individual women and women's organizations to submit letters detailing how individual women have had their rights violated by August 1. The WHRC has been collecting those admissions, which they have posted on their website. You can read a few of those submissions here. |
