I think there is a BUZZ in the air about us. That includes ALL OF YOU. Folks are talking about this event and I can't wait for you to give them something to talk about! To see YOU all dressed up, sharing your photos and video clips will make them wish they were here with us.

TICKETS DEADLINE WAS EXTENDED THRU 9/30 ... Many skaters asked for more time to get through their Labor Day skate adventures. We listened. If you have a hotel room and no Legends Gala ticket, that is not a good look! We're done to the last days and tickets! Don't wait on that friend that can't get it together LOL :)

Saturday @ The DC Armory
The biggest wood floor on the East Coast belongs to the DC Air National Guard. This massive celebration of roller skating is now being shared with the public! This event is hosted by The District of Columbia, Office of Mayor Muriel Bowser and The Office of Cable, Television, Music, Film, and Entertainment! This is NOT hosted by GetYourSk8On Entertainment but we have been honored to advise them in their planning. Your LEGENDS ticket only includes bus service to the DC Armory if you are staying at one of the two host hotels. Admission into the DC Armory party is still TBD but is expected to be in line with a regular skate party. We will let you know as soon as we find out!
Recently, we snuck some skate family into the building to test the floor and to give you a sneak peek inside. YA'LL there is WOOD FOR DAYS in there! |

HOTELS: OUR ROOM BLOCKS There are benefits to staying at the host hotel. Welcome letters and guest amenities will be waiting for you upon arrival. Shuttle bus to the DC Armory on Saturday is for guests staying at either of the 2 hotels. If you aren't a host hotel, we have to assume you are driving or using public transit. Your room key is your party bus ticket to the DC Armory. |

TRANSPORTATION: Getting Around Washington DC DO's: Explore, Walk, Bike, Scoot, Skate, Metro, Lyft DON'Ts: Rent a car, pay airport taxes and fees for the car.
Don't pay $32 per night to park at the host hotel, pay for street parking, hunt for parking!
D.C. is a transportation rich city with so many options and so much CLOSE BY that lends itself to walking, grabbing a bike, scooter or inexpensive ride share. Here is some basic info about the best transportation options for getting around in legendary style. |
