During the last months, several events have been contributing to the life of the i4Q project. Regarding its dissemination, it was notably present in Grenoble for the EFFRA event and the Ind Techs Days alongside the other projects of the 4ZDM cluster.

It was also the time for a plenary meeting in Aveiro, which was also the opportunity to visit one of our pilot factory, Ria Stone, and for our Project Review Meeting in Brussels.

i4Q Project Review meeting

The review meeting of the project was held on September 14th in Brussels. It was the opportunity to present the current status of the work to the project officer and the external reviewer.

Many positive feedback has been given on the overall activity and on the different solutions of the Reliable Industrial Data services.

Workshops "Industrial Data Services for Quality Control in Smart Manufacturing" from I-ESA 2022 now available online

On September 15th, the 4ZDM cluster has organized a workshop about data governance. RiaStone Pilot's Visit (May 19th 2022)

A visit was organised to have a global view of the pilot 5 at Ria Stone site. The Ria Stone factory produces porcelain stoneware articles for domestic use. Ria Stone is located in Ílhavo, which emerged in 2012, after an international tender launched by the Swedish multinational IKEA, for the production of 30 M pieces per year of stoneware tableware for the European and global market.

During the visits, the Ria Stone’s team explained to the participants the business process as well as the machines preparation and functions in order to produce significant data blocks, which will be incorporated in the Factory Data Chain.

i4Q participation in the IndTech Days 2022, EFFRA expo-village in Grenoble

It was a great pleasure and a big opportunity for the i4Q project to participate in the IndTech Days 2022 and the EFFRA booth that took place in Grenoble from the 27th to the 29th of May.

4ZDM cluster had its own village with four projects in total; i4Q, Dat4Zero, OPTIMAI, and PENELOPE. It was a unique experience being among so many entrepreneurs. We all had the chance to talk about our projects and exchange ideas with others, thus creating more opportunities for further interesting collaborations.

i4Q Project Plenary Meeting of Aveiro

To find new business opportunities and achieve a marketable end product and financial benefits over them, you have to pursue the opportunities and the steps to exploit them.

During the i4Q Project Plenary Meeting, an Exploitation Workshop was held by Knowledgebiz to find the best market acceptance and guarantee the effective technology transfer to the market and society.

The challenge, highly achieved, was to look at all the i4Q technologies and results and organized them into final commercial products/services aimed and focused on specific needs and functionalities. The partners also proposed different approaches to the market which provided valuable and useful information for the design of the i4Q Business Case.
