Happy Friday Friends!!!

Happy Newsletter Friday! Welcome to those of you who are reading this for the first time and welcome back to those returning!

THE POLL RESULTS:

So let's finally tackle that age-old question, "Why did the chicken cross the road?" You all really helped me get to the bottom of this one. The chicken may have been trying to get their vaccine, trying to social distance, or trying to meet their friend. But what is the winner!

I respect the solution we all came to on this question. It turns out it is "It is none of your business! The chicken is a busy chicken, okay?!" I guess you all are right. We should respect the chicken and let them do what they want to do!

OTHER NEWS:

My personal exciting news: My headquarters moved from Jersey to NYC! Last Saturday, I moved into the city to start my next chapter. What better way to start than unpacking, shopping for apartment things, and trying to find a new running route. I am excited to begin this new chapter and can't wait to see what unfolds. Not only that, the local news wrote a little story on my project Receive the Moment. Click here to check it out!

A sense of normalcy feels like it is right around the corner (and maybe up a hill, down the street, and a long car ride away). On Monday, April 19, every adult who wants to get the vaccine is eligible to get the vaccine. If you can, get the vaccine because it will make the car ride go a little quicker. I know that the feeling of life returning is beyond exciting but, I know I will keep on reminding myself what I learned this past year and strive to continue to make a new, better normal. Like I frequently reiterate, only someone can do as much as one person can do, they can't do everything. That being said, we can do something and that will make life just a little bit brighter!

Thank you for reading this and if this brought a smile to your day, feel free to forward it on and spread the cheer! Don't forget the impact a little kindness can have. It can create lots of change!

'Til next time,

A New Chapter Begins

Today, I am closing a chapter and starting a brand new one. This past chapter has challenged me in ways I didn't expect and I ended up growing in ways that I didn't know I needed. Now, the first chapter after graduating college in my mind is complete.

Reclaiming Things From the Past

One fateful Memorial Day Weekend in 2010 I was partaking in a Frisch Family annual tradition of running the Spring Lake 5 Mile Run in Spring Lake New Jersey. As a 10-year-old, I knew that these 5 miles would pose to be a challenge for me.
