It's hard to believe, but we just wrapped up a full year of our house campaign The Leyfarer's Chronicle on Saturday and are only a few short weeks away from our first anniversary party! This year has flown by and there isn't a day that goes by where we don't comment to each other about how amazing our community is. Thank you so much for everything and we hope you'll come celebrate with us on Saturday, October 26th! Our anniversary coincides with both Halloween and our in-world Lantern Festival, so we'll be having a costume contest, fantasy dance party, carnival games, lantern decorating, a very special collab beer release, and an ofrenda for Día de los Muertos. You can find more details and RSVP here, but we'll have festivities going all day before kicking it up a notch when the sun sets and things get spooky. The event is all ages with no cover; tabletop gaming is always welcome, but we do expect it to get pretty noisy so plan your gaming accordingly! |

Our golden Haiaax Hefe with a tiny haiaax miniature, just a little fluffy guy with some bells and other jewelry in its horns. Thank you to Printable Heroes for bringing our sweetest boy to life! |

The end of another Leyfarer chapter means another special beer release! Our first Hefeweizen, Haiaax Hefe, is now available at the bar and boasts a 4.5% ABV and 18 IBU. This German wheat beer is an easy drinking ale with big notes of both clove and banana, topped with a fluffy foam just like its adorable namesake. Domesticated by the Goblinfolk of Ucalyo, the haiaax thrive in the frigid climate and strange gravity of Driftpeaks. But wait, do you need EVEN MORE BANANA?! One of you recently told us about the German Bananaweizen beer cocktail and we couldn't resist giving it a try. This pairing of our Haiaax Hefe & Banana Purée has quickly become one of our favorite combinations and we'd recommend giving it a try! While primarily eating grasses and forbs, haiaax also occasionally enjoy bananas, carried to the plateaus by macaroubo monkeys. And for anyone out there looking to use the haiaax in your own games, here you go: |

Dinara's Fresh (Hop) Drop |

|
Our first fresh hop beer ever drops this Thursday, 10/10! Dinara's Fresh Drop is a Fresh Hop Pale Ale brewed with Idaho 7 straight from the Coleman Hops fields up in Woodburn. Idaho 7 is one of the last hop harvests of the season, but we're big fans of the tropical flavors it packs (as showcased in our Hazy IPA, Fog of War) and think it was worth the wait. We hope you feel the same! Dinara was the first person to look upon our broken world with wonder instead of fear. The first to believe our story was one of hope instead of ruin. She believed in many things. That stories are important. That people are fundamentally kind. But most of all, she believed in her Leyfarers. Fresh hop beers are a doozy to brew on a system our size, so if you like the release make sure to tell Jess incessantly so the rest of us can work on convincing her to brew two next year... 😇 |

The flyer for our upcoming Halloween-Anniversary combo event, with a lantern spirit floating towards an orange and black rendition of the tavern. The Lantern Festival is an event from our campaign world of Val'Ruvina marking the end of Sojourner's Rest, a time of year when the borders between planes are thinnest. It's a time of spirits and dreams, of remembrance, and of hopes for the future. |
