1. A celebration event in Bath - all welcome! |
|
|
Come and celebrate with us in at Sydney Gardens Community Pavilion, Bath from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday 25 June 2023. Whether you have completed all the sessions, are part-way through or want to learn more about Eco Together before starting - you are all welcome. We really hope to meet lots of new people for a fun, interactive and joyful event. Our celebration will be an opportunity for everyone to come together, talk about their experiences of Eco Together, share ideas, ask questions and celebrate being part of a community tapping into their powers to make a difference to climate change and biodiversity loss. Plus an optional petanque competition. Book your free space at the event here.

2. Spotlight on new ideas |
|

Have you looked at our resources list yet? It is packed full of ideas for environmentally conscious actions. The list is regularly updated, so keep checking it for new inspiration to tap into your eco powers. (If you haven’t yet participated in a group - use it anyway, the list is for everyone). Soon the list will also be available as web pages on our website for easier use and connection to linked online resources. As the summer holidays approach we give you a sample of recent travel-themed additions to our resources list: Social enterprise Ecosy helps you plan a green getaway, currently principally in the UK, plus the Pyrenees in France. Byway Travel creates personalised trips, including travel and accommodation, to explore the UK and Europe flight free. Walkers are Welcome is a UK wide initiative supporting walking in local communities and offers information on walking in different towns and cities across the UK.

If you have already joined a group and worked through some or all of the five sessions, congratulations and thank you for taking part!! |

Use your advocacy power - tell us what you think! Please spare a moment to give us your feedback here, and register your participation here. This information helps us to continue to grow the programme and get more grants, so we are really grateful if you can complete both very short and easy forms. |

Feedback from recent participants: “Brilliant introduction to climate action on multiple levels. Great community-building and norm-influencing programme. More of this, please!” “Direct action doesn't sit well with my personality but conscientious action and community-building does. Increasing awareness of the range of possible ways of intervening has definitely helped me feel I can do something with a worthwhile impact over and above the small changes I can implement in my own lifestyle.” “You'll be surprised with how easy the information and instructions are.” |

Not taken part yet and can’t remember why you signed up for this newsletter? Not to worry, you can find everything you need to know about this self-led group programme on our website. Go to the participants page for a peek at the materials. Keen on the concept, but not confident about starting a group? Send us an email hello@ecotogether.info and let’s see how we can help you. Or drop in and see us at our celebration event on Sunday 25 June in Bath - we would love to meet you. Are you part of a larger community (work, life, social) and need help explaining the concept? Recently we have given talks to The Chocolate Quarter Retirement Village in Keynsham, Bath Abbey and The Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution. If you are close to Bath, perhaps we could help you with something similar. Drop us an email at hello@ecotogether.info .
