  • Community Group Breathwork Event at Way2Go Fitness located at 3391 McDowell Rd., Grove City, OH 43123 from 9:30am-10:30am on March, 20 2022. $20/per person. Registration is required via text- 614.931.0016 or email- breathworx614@gmail.com.

 

  • Monthly Retiree Group Breathwork is March 22nd  from 9:30am-10:30am at D'Angelo Massage Therapy located at 3819 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. *Participants DO NOT have to be retired to attend. $15/per person. Please consider registering as space is limited. Registration can be completed via text: 614.931.0016 or email: breathworx614@gmail.com.

 

  • Parent-Child Duo. Explore emotional intelligence, self-regulation, healthy boundaries and forgiveness as you use your breath to strengthen your parent-child relationship. $1.50/min.

 

  • Save the Date for April's Community Breathwork on 4/10 at Way2Go Fitness. Session will be done in collaboration with Certified Yoga Instructor, Brianne Hartke. Mark your calendars for Yoga + Breathwork and Register Your Spot in Advance by clicking the "Attend an Event" button below.

 

  • Enrollment open for 1-on-1 Breathwork Sessions, offered in-person or virtually for adults & children. $1/min.

 

  • Family +Friends Breathwork.  Grab 3 or 4 friends and you choose date & time for a friendship breathe!

 

  • Enrollment open for Building a Conscious Mind Through the Breath, workshop for Educators and Professional Leaders.  $45/person.

The Power of Your Thoughts

 

Rewriting the Chemistry of Your Body 

Did you know zebras don't get ulcers? Zebras along with other animals, don't have the ability to imagine.

 

Ulcers can be formed when we allow our imagination to run wild. When we constantly think negatively, worry, or create fear-related narratives, the story we created grows bigger than us! Chemicals fire, hormones release and new neural pathways form...now our body believes our wildly unhelpful imagination! 

 

The good news!? This knowledge can be turned around and used positively! Each of us have the power to create positive thoughts contributing to the release of beneficial chemicals and hormones like oxytocin, dopamine and serotonin. These positive neurotransmitters send signals to the brain and body telling it "All is well". Our parasympathetic nervous system is activated...we just created positivity with our minds and our body jumped on board!!  When our brain and body believes "All is well", we are more likely to live in contentment and less likely to get sick. Knowing our beliefs create our reality is truly a game changer.

Breathwork Techniques for Daily Living

 

Bunny's Breath

Bunnies have an impeccable smell for carrots!

Sit up straight.

Take 3 quick sniffs of carrots through your nose by bringing the breath up into your chest. 

Exhale 1 long release of breath through your nose, allowing your breath to fall from your chest down into your belly.

 

Bear's Breath

Bears take 6-10 breaths per minute, but during hibernation, they take only 1 breath every 45 seconds!

Sit with a straight back. 

Inhale through the nose while counting SLOWLY 1-2-3.

Exhale through the nose while counting SLOWLY 1-2-3.

 

Whale's Breath

A whale's blow hole is used because they cannot breathe underwater.

Sitting with a straight back, allow your belly to grow big on your inhale and shrink on your exhale. 

On your next exhale, cup your mouth/blow hole releasing your breath through your mouth.
