Come what May...

Come what May....(yes, I've used a play on words for this month's newsletter headline)

I saw Moulin Rouge at the cinema when I was fourteen and fell in love and haven't looked back. For adolescent (and adult) me, it checked a lot of boxes. Visually stunning, awesome music, gorgeous leads, completely over-the-top - what's not to love? I was looking for idioms or proverbs for May and came across a site giving phrases. And this one was there - Come what may... and I was suddenly a teenager again and in love with Ewan McGregor. But I digress...

You may or may not connect with my love of hyperbolic musical cinema, but connection is what I'm focusing on this month. Like what I did there? Check out these different ways of connecting with your audience. Are there any that you love that I've missed?

About me

It rained a LOT at the beginning of the month. I am super excited now to be able to get out into my yard and get to work. This is one of my Perfect Purple Crabapple trees, in honor of which I named my company way back when.

Last summer we built some raised beds and I'm looking forward to finally planting them and hopefully being able to eat some of my own vegetables! This year I'm also experimenting with annuals to brighten things up a bit.

You can follow my gardening journey on my Instagram! You'll also see photos of our ongoing landscaping, house renovation and exploring.

See you next time.
