NEWS FROM MRS. TOBERGTE

Dear St. Patrick Families,

Thank you to our PTO for rescheduling our student celebration activity from CSW to this week--the obstacle course bounce house was so much fun, and the kids had a great time navigating the various challenges!

Next week is a short week.  There is no school on Monday, February 14th (Bishop's Day) and no school on Friday, February 18th (Diocesan Professional Day).  We will be kicking off our PTO-sponsored Read-a-Thon on February 16th with a special movie that ties into our Camp Read-a-Lot theme, Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown.  More information about Read-a-Thon can be found in the PTO section below.

The PTO is also seeking volunteers for a special project on our playground.  We are looking for parents to help paint our blacktop with special games for our students to play during recess.  See below for the sign up genius.

God's Blessings,

Amy Tobergte

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO PARENTS:

Our first bell rings at 7:50AM and the tardy bell rings at 8:00AM. Students arriving after 8:00 AM are tardy.  All students arriving after 8:00AM, when the gym doors close, must be brought into the school by a parent and signed in for the day in the front office.

IMPORTANT- COVID Protocol

For all COVID related issues/questions please email Principal Tobergte, Nurse Tobben, and Mrs. Robbins:

amtobergte@stpatrickschool.net

kstobben@stpatrickschool.net

All Positive Cases: The student with the positive test result may not come to school.  Siblings of the student with the positive test results may not come to school either.  Further direction regarding return dates will be provided by one of the staff listed above.

All positive cases reported after 3:00PM Monday through Friday will be addressed the following school day.

All positive cases reported over the weekend will be addressed the next day that school is in session.

If your child has been quarantined for an exposure, you must email a negative test result obtained 5 days after their exposure date. If your child has a hardcopy negative result, he/she must stop in the school office upon arrival at school on his/her return date with the negative results.  Home tests are now permitted for re-entry to school.

If your child has symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, fever, upset stomach, coughing, headache, etc.) please keep them home from school.  A doctor's note or negative COVID test is required to re-enter school.  Home tests are now permitted for re-entry to school.

Student Work:

Parents of students who are missing school for illness or COVID exposure may request a work packet from the classroom teacher.  Once requested, it will be available for pick up in the front entry of the school between 2:45-3:15PM the day after the request was made.

All other absences please reference the Student Handbook for our guidelines.
