I’ve spent the majority of my life searching for who I am and whose I am. After many twists and turns, detours and dives, peaks and pivots, I’m grateful for this season of my life where I get to live in the fullness of who I believe God has called me to be. I am also incredibly thankful this fullness overflows into every aspect of my life.

During most days and months of the year, my overflow looks like engaging in dialogue with eager and inquisitive undergraduate students as we discuss health disparities, health equity and global health. In addition to professional presentations and publications, I blog at Carter’s Corner, contribute to a number of publications as a freelance writer, and have several other writing projects in progress. And I’m a speaker! I’ve spoken to audiences of various sizes and demographics across the U.S., as well as in the U.K. and West Africa.

When I’m not teaching, writing or speaking, I’m reading! I also love traveling, spending time with family, as well as friends, and trying delicious, healthy recipes.

Get Ready to LEVERAGE!

The purpose of LMP is to champion women who navigate the intersections of ministry, career, and entrepreneurship. We meet four times in a group setting over the course of 2 months, every other Sunday for about 1 hour (with additional time for Q&A). This year, I am excited about all of the ways I have enhanced the program to yield even greater effectiveness for the ladies who will enroll. In addition to the group sessions, each member of LMP will get two individual consultations with me.
