My sonic narrative is a reinterpretation of various scenes from French Renaissance writer Francois Rabelais' Gargantua and Pantagruel, a tale of two giants who are father (Gargantua) and son (Pantagruel). The narrative outlines Pantagruel's birth causing the death of his mother Babadec, Pantagruel's maturation, and the final pivotal letter from Gargantua to Pantagruel that imparts his wisdom about life and navigating the world. For the intro and outro, I used samples from 16th century French music and chopped them up / manipulated them in Ableton’s Simpler. All other effects used intermittently are very basic (reverb, delay, compression, stereo widening, panning, etc.)
