'360' Newsletter

A resource for teachers and learners, a quote to inspire, and a question to ponder. It really is the little things we do consistently that lead to great outcomes.

A quick but important announcement before we get into this week's '360'.

One of my favorite parts of teaching a new course is learning about my students' strengths, motivations, and challenges. The information and stories they share help me to shape instruction and activities to leverage their strengths and provide resources to meet their needs. One such need is reading materials that are age and level-appropriate for adult literacy and ESL learners. The following are some quality resources that may serve you and your students. Please reply to this email with any additional reading resources for adult learners. It takes a village to support an adult!

Teaching Reading

The following webinars focus on the teaching of reading to adult learners.

Quote

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”

Question

How can we cultivate a love for reading in our and others' lives?

Until next week,

Ramin aka "Dr. Yaz"
