Training A Million Compassionate People

A 6-Week training in the skills of compassion, starting with compassion for yourself.
(And for the benefit of all.)

"In a compassionate world, we restore everything from oceans to forests, justice and our communities. I’m not teaching about a coddling kind of compassion. I’m teaching about a kind of compassion that is gentle when it needs to be, but also a powerful compassion that can hold complexity, recognize suffering in its many forms, and create the conditions that are needed for change.” _ Julia Frodahl

Why Compassion?

Finding our way into a healthier relationship with ourselves, each other, and the beautiful Earth is the adventure and calling of our time.

Every one of the massive problems we currently face — from greed, to racism, corruption and eco destruction — is, at the root, a spiritual problem. Meaning, it’s a problem of not understanding interconnectivity. And none of these problems can be solved in a lasting way unless we work at this spiritual root.

The good news is that there’s a palpable longing and readiness for change. A longing to move from a culture of Me to a culture of We.

The challenge is that this longing is frequently impeded by the deep conditioning within each of us that runs against it.

So we need training. We need training in the skills of compassion, cohesion, and equanimity. And that’s what this program is here to provide.

This program is here to meet the longing for change, and guide people through the inner revolution. It’s here to give people the hope and assurance that this Inner Work is happening on a scale that is large enough to make a difference. It’s here to make this inner work an actual movement. One that runs alongside the many other essential and beautiful movements happening in the world today — from regenerative farming to humane technology initiatives. It’s here to restore genuine self-love, revive a sense of duty and care for the whole, and nurture the ecosystems between self and other, self and community, self and Earth.

Who typically joins us?

This compassion program attracts a diverse community of participants, including activists, accountants, attorneys, teachers, tech entrepreneurs, healers, coaches, actors, artists, and musicians. All genders, youth and elders, from the suburbs, farmlands, and cities. Younger students have ushered their parents in. Sisters have ushered in their brothers. And since our inception in 2020, we’ve been honored to train over 1500 individuals from all over the world — from across the US, to the UK, Pakistan, England, France, Turkey, the Netherlands, Canada, and more. These teachings, and the readiness for them, are universal.

Even if you're already a compassionate person, this program will help you navigate these times with less fear and more hope, less division and more connection and repair.

How it works

1. PART ONE IMMERSION. First, you enroll in the initial 6-week immersion, which will offer you fundamental and life-changing insights for living a more compassionate life. The Part One Immersion is offered a few times a year.

2. LASTING COMMUNITY. After completing the Part One Immersion, you’re invited into our Compassion Community, which includes all of our Part One graduates to date. This community is comprised of hundreds of thoughtful people from all over the world.

This private community serves as a greenhouse for the long-term cultivation of compassion. It provides a place for continued sharing, learning, and support beyond the initial training. We have member-moderated spaces for specialized topics such as “Compassion & The Earth Community”, “Compassion & Social Justice”, “Compassion & Family”, and “Compassion & The Workplace”, to ensure that all you learn in the initial compassion immersion finds its way into your life and the matters of our world in meaningful and practical ways. And I offer other curated activities that are available only to you, as a compassion community member.

3. CONTINUED LEARNING. After you’ve completed the Part One Immersion, you can deepen your compassion with the Part Two and Part Three modules of the program.
