Why is the start of Lent the perfect time to do a short, simple cleanse?

Lent is a spiritual reset for the soul and this cleanse is a physical reset for the body. Let's do them in tandem! Lent is that time during the year when we willingly pare back, limit, or let go of something. That very letting go is intended to feel like a sacrifice. In the sacrifice, if we are paying attention, much is revealed about how we think, feel, operate, maintain. It may reveal how much that thing was really a bigger vice than we realized. In the absence of said thing that we have given up, we are often resurrected ourselves. As we simplify, we are set right, set free. This cleanse can reveal things about your body and how you can better maintain it.

 

The protocol for this cleanse is one that sets us up to simplify for 7 days and in doing so we set the body free of many stressors while also building it up with effective nutrients. With this cleanse, you can start this Lent with a transformation right off the bat that will put you into the right mindset for a powerfully intentional Lent.
