We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed $100,000 raised for Community Impact Grants through our two annual events: Touch-A-Truck and Big Night Out. Community Impact Grants allow the Junior Women's League of Smithfield to appropriate monies in a flexible manner to nonprofit community agencies that render services within Johnston County.
NOW ACCEPTING COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT APPLICATIONS We are currently accepting applications for Community Impact Grant recipients for the 2020-2021 league year. Priority is given to organizations whose projects directly benefit the lives of women and children within Johnston County. Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020. Agencies will be notified regarding CIG funding by January 24, 2021 and will be awarded at our Big Night Out fundraiser event in the spring or our Touch-A-Truck fundraiser event in the fall of 2021. |
