We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed $100,000 raised for Community Impact Grants through our two annual events: Touch-A-Truck and Big Night Out. Community Impact Grants allow the  Junior Women's League of Smithfield to appropriate monies in a flexible manner to nonprofit community agencies that render services within Johnston County.

NOW ACCEPTING COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT APPLICATIONS
We are currently accepting applications for Community Impact Grant recipients for the 2020-2021 league year. Priority is given to organizations whose projects directly benefit the lives of women and children within Johnston County.  Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020. JWL TO TEAM UP WITH SANTA

JWL is teaming up with Santa again this year to help bring awareness and eliminate food insecurity.

Thanks to generous support from our community and beyond, Santa was able to send over 200 personalized letters to children in six states in 2019. For the second year, the proceeds of $1,050 from our Letters from Santa campaign allowed us to sponsor three children for an entire year of Backpack Buddies coordinated by the In
terfaith Food Shuttle.

Beginning Nov. 9, Santa and his elves will be working hard to send out personalized letters once again. Stay tuned for more details!
