Voici Monsieur Flocon. In English he is called Mr. Snowflake, and he appears in an upcoming French language picture book I illustrated for Les Petites Pommes French Programs.

The story is about a girl who goes with her brothers to their grandparents’ farm in the 1960's. I have to say that my experience painting the Italian countryside shows through in this double-page scene.

I also want to share this ink drawing representing Ukraine, as it is fitting for these concerning times. A few months ago I did a series of them highlighting countries and ministries around the world, for a Missions colouring booklet for my church. This one accompanies a text about L'viv Theological Seminary.
