Group Progress Report 

Engineering Team
SGP's engineering team has made strides this year in ironing out the structure plan of the Biodome, including the structure that will support the building. 
 
Besides basic structure, the team has been working on designs for exciting new features of the Biodome, including designs for a study lounge that all Michigan State students will be able to enjoy year-round. 
 
Plans for an efficient, innovative irrigation system is also in the works, as the engineer team works to achieve their most important goal: to create a cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing design. 
 
Progress to the Biodome designs are kept in constant communication with members of Michigan State University's Infrastructure and Planning Facilities.

Fish and Wildlife Team
Fish and Wildlife team went from a one-person team to eight people and are happy to report that they have made eight times the progress. 
 
The team has spent the beginning of the year researching types of flora and fauna that will be in the Biodome. The team has contacted local organizations, such as Preuss Pets for advice on what the Biodome should contain. They will continue to make a more definite plan on the types of fish in the pond in the coming weeks. 

Upcoming Events

Save the date! SGP will be hosting a fundraiser at Panda Express on Thursday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Print out or present our flyer to the Panda Express at the International Center on this date, and a portion of the proceeds will go to SGP. Chow down with some friends and donate to a good cause!
