Patron of Te Puke Rep makes her final exit. Maureen Oliver was a long time member of the society who was an active member in the past on stage and on committee. She played a key role alongside Lionel Litt in siting our theatre on Litt Park in the sixties. As patron Maureen was always supportive of all productions and for every opening night she would would write a poem for the cast and crew. As one of the last of her generation in the society Maureen will be remembered as one of the many who made sure Te Puke Repertory produced quality plays for the community. |
