Hello, Art and Design Friends! Don't you just love the ephemeral nature of clouds? As a self-professed nephophile (nephophile definition: A person who loves clouds; a fondness or obsession of clouds.), Their constantly changing forms inspire me, and their massive presence and impossible loftiness instill universal awe. You might say my head's in the clouds... Clouds offer a sense of wonder, optimism, and beauty, and are often featured in my stylistic landscapes. This constancy is part of a signature style that's been a joy to develop. Until I fall in love with another painting subject, keep expecting the loftiness to continue! What constancy is part of your signature style? P.S. If your inbox is maxed out, you're always welcome to unsubscribe at the bottom of the page. Thank you! |

Chanterelle Day on Engineer Mountain Inspired by a hike up Engineer Mountain last year, this diptych painting captures the feeling of expansiveness as you breathe in the beauty from atop Engineer. A favorite late-summer activity is packing a picnic and foraging for chanterelle mushrooms in the San Juan mountains. Searching for their unique color is reminiscent of the glee of an Easter Egg hunt, with the delightful surprise of their golden hue popping through the September undergrowth. |

Los Chileros I have been designing the vibrant brand, packaging, website, and marketing material of Los Chileros since 2001. Los Chileros was one of my first clients in Albuquerque, and helped me launch into the specialty food packaging business. What a joy to combine my love of food AND design! |
Their signature, colorful Los Chileros serape adorns most of their packaging, and they've always loved splashy, lively, fun design solutions – even on their company car vehicle wrap! I value the constancy of long-term relationships with my clients and consider it a bonus when I can call them a friend, too. It's been great working with you for more than two decades, Chuck! |

Los Chileros has been providing authentic Southwest tastes since 1981. Their all natural chiles, chile powders, soups, and rubs are available internationally. Honest New Mexico Chile. | | |

Want a cravable side dish that's special enough for company or easy enough for a weeknight dinner? These potatoes are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and are my current favorite carb treat. Make sure you try one fresh out of the oven. Mmmmmmm. Colorful culinary tip of the day...
