Today we celebrate Corpus Christi. On Maundy Thursday we remember the institution of the Eucharist (or Mass) but any celebration is overshadowed by or muted because of the remembrance of the other events at the end of Jesus’ earthly life. Today we celebrate the unalloyed joy of the Eucharist being the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus – his real presence in our midst. |
CORPUS CHRISTI Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Body (Corpus) and Blood (Sanguinem) of Christ - and all that the Eucharist means to us as Christians. Thank you for bringing petals and aromatic herbs to strew in front of the procession in honour Christ’s Sacramental Presence. |

REGULAR GIVING Giving to fund the ministry of the Church is an essential part of our Christian faith. We are struggling, so, please, if you don’t already, consider giving a regular amount. No amount is too small. Using our parish giving plan is easy and you are in full control (and Margaret Quinney will be pleased to help you if needed). For one-off donations please use the card machine at the back of church or the offering plate for cash. |
