Welcome to Septembers Newsletter! I hope everyone has had a great summer break! I loved August and was here, there, and everywhere, enjoying the sun, rain, wind...and even fire, and hailstones ha ha!!
After taking a break from our usual routines of exercise it's always hard to get back into it but let's bite that bullet, jump back on the saddle and rekindle our fitness schedule! As the seasons start to change... again (I feel we have weekly season changes..eeek!) how about challenging yourself - set new goals, and make positive changes that will resonate well beyond the Autumn months. Come on, let's embrace September together!
As well as joining a Hummingbird Pilates & Fitness Session, here's some motivation ideas below to keep you moving and grooving all month long!
1. "Step" Into September: Set a daily step goal and use a pedometer or smartphone app to track your progress. Involve your friends, family and coworkers in a friendly step competition to keep the motivation high.
2. Goal Setting: September is the start of the final quarter of the year. What fitness goals did you set earlier, and how close are you to achieving them? Reflect on your progress and set actionable, realistic goals for the remainder of the year.
3. Nutritional Reset: Revamp your diet by incorporating seasonal fruits and vegetables. Apples, pears, squash, and sweet potatoes can add both flavor and nutrition to your meals. Experiment with new recipes that align with your fitness goals.

5. Virtual Charity Runs: Participate in virtual charity runs or walks happening this month. Not only will you contribute to a worthy cause, but you'll also stay motivated to complete your chosen distance. Remember, every step makes a difference!
6. Mind-Body Wellness Fusion: September isn't just about physical fitness—it's also an excellent time to focus on mental and emotional well-being. Consider incorporating mindfulness practices like Pilates, yoga, meditation, or deep breathing into your routine.
7. Reflect and Renew: Take a moment to reflect on your fitness journey so far. What have you accomplished, and what challenges have you overcome? Celebrate your successes, and acknowledge the dedication you've shown to your health.
