CHRISTMAS AT SEA - NOVEMBER 6 The Seaman's Center annual Christmas at Sea program provides seafarers with a shoe box filled with essential gifts. The gifts are often the only reminder to those who are at sea, away from family and friends, that others care about the important job they do. You can help by filling a shoe box at home or donating some of the needed items listed below on Nov 6. | | |
THANKSGIVING BASKETS Every year, our Mission and Outreach committee organizes Thanksgiving Baskets for thirty families with school-aged children in our area. We'll pack the baskets on Friday, November 18 and deliver them to three local elementary schools - Carrie Downie, New Castle, and Eisenberg Elementary. Thank you for all your generous giving that makes these blessings possible!

GIFTS OF LOVE Thanks to the MVPs who have contributed thus far and all who continue to do so. Our last collection of the year will be on Sunday, December 4. So far, we've achieved 89% of our goal and donated $3,200 of our $3,600 commitment to our neighbors in need. But, we can't take our eyes off the ball. We must continue to press an aggressive offense to raise the remaining $400 of our pledge for the year. So make a donation through one of the white envelopes to help us reach the endzone! |
EMMANUEL DINING ROOM - BROWNIES! Each month, NCPC offers freshly made brownies for our EDR neighbors. Donate boxes of brownie mix or bake a batch at the start of the month. Contact Liz Parziale to receive the reminder at the end of each month - brownies are due to the church kitchen by the 6th! |
