Did you know that October 1st is International Day of Older Persons?

Today we celebrate and thank our seniors for the vital role they play in our communities. This day is also aimed to raise awareness of the issues that affect the health and well-being of seniors, which has been especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Seniors have always been at the forefront of our organization. They are our “why”. We created our not-for-profit corporation to try and improve the lives of our beloved and highly valued senior citizens.

Sending Sunshine hopes to see a world in which every senior citizen will never feel alone. Donations to our organization go directly towards the cost of mailing cards to seniors in long-term care, retirement homes, and living independently in Canada. You can be the reason Sending Sunshine is able continue to put smiles on the faces of seniors across the country!
