Glory & Peace | Biblequiltjournal.comI'm capturing a couple of our 31 Days of Peace verses on the blank pages at the back of the Monthly BQJ . At this time of year I like to incorporate some Christmas carols from old hymnals, too. I finally found some earth stickers . |

JOY to the World | Biblequiltjournal.comHow is YOUR joy-seeking going this season? Sometimes creating a simple BQJ page helps me remember the long-lasting, historic JOY that generations upon generations have experienced before us. Looking into the background history of favorite Christmas carols puts them in context. Adding scripture aro |

Christmas Tree Fun with Washi Tape | Biblequiltjournal.comJust when you thought you'd figured out a bunch of ways to use washi tape on your #biblequiltjournal pages, you discover another fun project to do with it! Mary Jo shared this idea with the BQ community recently on a Zoom call, noting she probably saw the original idea on Pinterest somewhere. |

Christmas Tree, Page in Progress | Biblequiltjournal.comSometimes it takes us a little while to get a page completed. And that's OK! I started this Christmas tree a few weeks ago by ripping a scrapbook paper into a triangular shape, leaving the edges rough. I glued it onto the journal page and added a few stickers. |

Three Trees (by Audra) | Biblequiltjournal.comThe Three Trees template is an original design created by my sis-in-law last Christmas season as a supplement to the Bible Quilt® journal. This template can be easily geared toward a Christmas, winter, or nature theme. It's a fun one to play around with washi tape and colored paper! |
Trees (by Alice) | Biblequiltjournal.comThe Trees template was designed by Alice, a Bible Quilter in Alabama, as a supplement to the Bible Quilt Journal. I added some stitch lines to her original version to provide you with some ideas re: ways to decorate this fun template. This pdf includes both versions of the Trees (with and without stitchlines) in both sizes. |

Stamp Station Stamps are SO handy for titles and key words. I'll have some Christmas-themed stamps available as well as acrylics and alphabet stamps. |
Stamp away! | Biblequiltjournal.comOne of my favorite stamp sets is this clickable set I've had for years. You can snap the individual letters together into a one-word stamp, which keeps the letters in alignment. Typically I stamp my word onto a piece of scratch paper before I stamp it onto my Bible Quilt journal page. |
Using Acrylic stamps | Biblequiltjournal.comIf you want a quick way to add a little flair to your #biblequiltjournal page, you can stamp words or illustrations on it. I used to be intimidated by acrylic stamps ( not sure why ) but I have come to appreciate their easy use and adaptability for a variety of themes. |

Favorite supplies for Bible Quilting | Biblequiltjournal.comMy favorite markers are Papermate flair pens . They come in a variety of bold and pastel colors. I've been impressed how long they last! O Holy Night | Biblequiltjournal.comDo you sometimes catch yourself humming a refrain from a Christmas carol? The phrase "the weary world rejoices" kept swirling about in my head last week, so I decided to spend some time creating with it and digging into the rest of the song, too. |
