DabbleBox allows you to work at your own pace and at your own level. It is the gift that keeps on giving, by teaching you new skills and innovative ways to make and construct art.
Cece and I put our whole heart into creating the DabbleBox. We start by R&D-ing projects (Cece's participation is really key in this step). We decide what will work for most ages and what will not translate well through the box. At this point, we also need to figure out if and how we can cross-use some of the materials in the box. Once we have the four projects decided...we begin sourcing and gathering supplies. Then, Operation DabbleBox Factory begins! (Cece gets to sit this part out, you know, child labor and such.) I build, label, personalize and stuff boxes. I draw out instructional diagrams, type up project directions and come up with an upcycle challenge. I finish up each individual box by affixing instruction packets and shipping labels on the box. Lastly, DabbleBoxes are shipped and Cece gets back to work with me making our instructional videos. And that is how your DabbleBox comes together in a nutshell!
