Trucking' on through March The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round... Part of growing is just keeping going, even through difficult challenges and trying times. Our growth may be uneven. We make experience rapid growth in some areas of our lives while other aspects feel stagnant. |

Inch by inch... Even the visual reminder of a little inchworm can remind us of incremental change as we tenaciously move forward bit by bit. Inch by inch.

Some of these Growth verses might inspire you to dig in a little deeper. They would work well on the Rooted in Love templates, too. |

Rooted in Christ, mess and allI'm sharing the process of this page with you to encourage you to dig into your Bible Quilting without fear of making mistakes...but to anticipate making mistakes and to be open to the creativity that unfolds along the way in the midst of the messes. |

The new Potted Plants template is a way to focus on verses to stimulate our spiritual growth... or how we're facilitating that in our families.

Continuing to Pray for Ukraine You're welcome to add your prayer page to the comments on this link. I love seeing how you all are personalizing these for missionaries or other people you know. Fran even made a map pocket in which she's inserting additional notes/prayers on sunflower cards. |
Sunflowers are the national flower of Ukraine. As circumstances continue to escalate and more specific prayer needs arise, you can do additional pages on the sunflower template. Since our theme last August was Steadfastness, many of those scriptures would be applicable, too. |
Steadfast SunflowersThis month as we learn more about the Steadfast qualities of the Lord, may we turn our gaze to His Light just as those sturdy sunflowers do! |
Steadfast and TrueSteadfastness is about being steady, standing firm, and persevering even in times of distress. Let's explore scriptures on being steadfast.. |

Sometimes we can feel disconnected from world events that feel far away. Here's a family photo of Yaroslava from Vinnitsya, Ukraine. We connected via Instagram b/c of our similar account names. Mine is BibleQuiltJournal and hers is BibleQuilt. She welcomes prayer for her family, church community, and their country. Yaroslava is posting some of her embroidery about Bible stories, sharing the gospel as well as poignant vignettes of current situations. You may be interested in following her Insta feed. Her recent post showed a map of light pollution over Russia and Ukraine...and how Ukraine has transformed into a dark spot as a protection against intruders. She's reminding us all that Jesus is the Light of the World. (John 9:5) "Even in our darkest times, we can still lift our eyes to Him, and let Him fill us with His light." - Yaroslava When you post your BQ pages and use #biblequiltjournal, consider adding #biblequilt, too, and that will further connect us, together. If you do the Ukraine prayer page, add #prayforukraine 🇺🇦 |

How are your shamrock pages going? I did one with the theme, Grow in God, using the petals of the shamrocks to highlight the fruit of the Spirit. Thanks again to Lara for this fun seasonal template! ☘️ For a free printable of either of these, use coupon code LUCKY2 for Shamrock 2... and LUCKY for the original Shamrock. ☘️ |

Shamrock 2 | Biblequiltjournal.comThis Shamrock #2 template was designed by my high school friend, Lara and I'm lucky to have her as part of our BQ community. If you like to do seasonal BQ pages, this will get you set for March! Maybe you'd like to use some of scriptures from the 31 Days of Growth series with it. |
