As mentioned in last month's news letter we will be bringing to you a fabulous array of events and performances throughout this year.

  • Pecha Kucha Evening - early April
  • Club nights - performing 2-3 of the Short Play Festival performances - hopefully first club night will be in May.
  • More poetry evenings planned throughout the year
  • The Pink Hammer - performs early August. A Kiwi comedy that hits the nail on the head.  Auditions start in May.
  • Tauranga Arts Festival 21-23 October
  • End of year production to be confirmed but looking good at this stage.

But did you know ...

Plans are underway to provide the theatre with a new entrance.  Something not too big but a welcoming extension that will provide protection from the elements and room to meet friends and collect tickets.

We hope to have this finished before our first major production in August.  Progress updates and photos will follow.

Pecha Kucha

means Japanese for Chit Chat.

Our plans for the Pecha Kucha evening are coming along nicely and it looks as though we will have an interesting and wide range of topics and speakers for you.

One night only and tickets and date will be advertised closer to the time.

Looking back.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Pantomime November 2017

Introducing Jazz Rice who played Snow White and who is now our youngest member of the 2021 Committee.  Jazz is a local who has been involved with performing arts all of her life and has been an active member in other community and school groups.  We're looking forward to her fresh ideas.
