May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Mental Health Awareness Month aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to reduce stigma around seeking help for one's mental health.

Here are some resources and ways that you can be involved and contribute for this cause:

- Free mental health toolkit from Mental Health America

- NAMI is launching a campaign "You Are Not Alone" that features the lived experiences of people affected by mental health and their journey. You are more than welcome to contribute and share your story here.

- "Seize the Awkward" Campaign that is geared towards guiding teenagers and yougn adults on ways to communicate and talk to their peers about mental health.

- Acacia Counseling and Wellness asked their providers to share therapy myths on their Instagram page. Check out some of their posts here, here, and here. There are also more here!
