Big news from the loom! Join me in welcoming this little beauty into the world, the first quarter coverlet woven in a figure I'm calling Roy Orr's Zanesville. When Roy sold me his 19th-century Jacquard head and piano cutter nearly a year ago, he threw in the punch cards he'd made for his coverlets including this one he called "Zanesville." With a folksy center field, cockerel border, and polychrome stripes this quarter coverlet has a very Pennsylvania Dutch feel, fitting for it's place of origin, Zanesville, Ohio.
