It's Here!

Big news from the loom! Join me in welcoming this little beauty into the world, the first quarter coverlet woven in a figure I'm calling Roy Orr's Zanesville. When Roy sold me his 19th-century Jacquard head and piano cutter nearly a year ago, he threw in the punch cards he'd made for his coverlets including this one he called "Zanesville." With a folksy center field, cockerel border, and polychrome stripes this quarter coverlet has a very Pennsylvania Dutch feel, fitting for it's place of origin, Zanesville, Ohio. See more images in the online shop by clicking the button below, or learn more about the history of my Jacquard equipment.

In other news, you've received my very first newsletter! Thank you for signing up for this list and staying up to date with the latest goings on from The Burroughs Garret. I've been humbled by your recent support and have lots of wool to dye and coverlets to weave, so that's all for now.

In gratitude,

Justin
