For our October newsletter, we have had a slow month with articles (everyone is busy with their studying)! Due to this, we are utilizing this month to shoutout our collaborators and inspirations. Check them out below!

This organization is dedicated to providing mentorship and resources for students in STEM that want to pursue research.
 
One of the programs that makes Research Girl unique is their 1-on-1 mentorship program where advanced researchers provide advice to beginners, matched by research interest. Apply to volunteer with them this winter!

Cientifico Latino

This organization is dedicated to providing resources and mentorship to students in STEM, with an emphasis on students pursuing scientific careers from underrepresented backgrounds.
 
Some of their content includes a yearly mentorship program for students applying to STEM PhD programs as well as virtual seminars on the application process.
