August Newsletter

Dear Community,

We've had a jam packed summer! Things don't seem to like to slow down around here at 21ten do they? August is in full swing and we have been having a lot of fun. We hosted our first ever Street Fair this month and enjoyed the day with a hundred community members, we presented our BareBones show 52 Pick-Up once again with a new deal-- a queer retelling of the story brilliantly told by Annie Trevisan and Victoria Spelman (if you missed it, keep reading! You may be in luck...), we have new art up on our walls by Keagan Polentz, and we have opened our co-production of Stupid Fucking Bird to roaring applause!

Thank you to our loyal supporters who have helped up in so many ways, volunteering, donating, and showing up to all of our offerings. We truly could not do it without you.

Keep reading to learn more about what's been happening this month!

Catch the final weekend of Stupid F***ing Bird!

Our Street Fair was a Success!

21ten closed off our block on SE 10th Avenue on August 10th for our

first annual Street Fair fundraiser!

We had a wonderful day celebrating 21ten with performances, games, music, food, drink, a ping pong tournament, vendors from the community, and an extremely popular RAFFLE full of valuable prizes such as rehearsal time at 21ten, and a weekend Cabin stay in Sisters, OR!

All proceeds from the Street Fair are going towards supporting Stupid Fucking Bird. Thanks to our community, we have raised $7,700!

In order to meet our theatre's overall fundraising goal, we do still need to raise $3,500 for 21ten make it through October & maintain our programming. We are so close! Our hope is that the dinner party fundraiser will get us near to all the way there. Click the button below if you want to help get closer to our goal.
