Camping/Hiking Meal Ideas
Camping or hiking is the perfect time to use some lightweight products that pack a punch.
Just because you're not at home doesn't mean your tastebuds have to miss out.
You're also going to want things that have more than one use, of course.

Freeze Dried Corn Kernels - a nutritious snack as they are or dusted with your favourite herbs and spices, rehydrate and use in corn salsa or topping for tacos or burritos. Add to soups or stews on the campfire.
Onion Flakes - rehydrate and add to scrambled eggs, omlette, mashed potato, Mexican dishes. Add to soups or stews on the campfire.
Dip Mixes - dip mix as per instructions, vegetable seasoning, soup seasoning, extra flavour to shop bought dip mix, meat seasoning.
Pizza Pasta Mix - spaghetti bolognese, pizza sauce, soup flavouring, pasta sauce.
Shredded Carrot - rehydrate and add to burritos, wraps, stir fry, salads or fritters. Add to any wet dishes such as butter chicken or curry.
