I learned today that I have a race. With your help, I KNOW we can win.

Our public schools are for all students.

I want to serve on the board because I know I can make informed decisions that put the wellbeing of all students first. As a former elementary school teacher, I know the challenges, frustrations and joys of teaching. I know that teachers work incredibly hard to meet the needs of all their students and to challenge those that are ready for more. They put students first as they prepare lessons over the weekend, grade after dinner and advocate for their students. I know how hard administrators and classified staff work to make schools run and to make sure that teachers, staff and students have what they need to teach and learn. I know that families want the best for their children.

Help me facilitate thriving school communities where we collaborate to put all students first. We can do this, together.
