Recovery From The Past Few Months This month we are seeing our new identity take shape after months of big work There's a new baseline that we are starting to experience You may feel steadier than ever right now It may be easier to recognize what is and isn't authentic for you now
I am noticing lately just how much time I spend focused on forward movement. There's nothing wrong with this in moderation, of course, but constantly looking ahead to more growth can prevent us from taking the time required to appreciate and anchor into the work we've already done! If your summer was anything like mine, there was a LOT of big lessons and big work. It felt like I went through such enormous changes that I am stepping into the fall as a totally different person. And yet, if I didn't take time to actually slow down and pay attention to it, I might miss just how much has changed! So this month, I'm working on shifting my awareness to catching myself responding differently to situations. When we notice these things, it helps us to create a new understanding of who we are right now. And that new person is probably quite amazing once you take the time to appreciate them! So make sure to take some time this month to slow down, notice this new you that's taking shape, and enjoy the new ways that you are feeling and reacting to your world! |

Disorientation From The Shifts With so much that has changed for us recently, we might be feeling disoriented as we experience this new way of being The shifts that we've made internally will start to call in a new future, and we can start feeling the momentum towards it now At the same time, we are in liminal space - on the threshold of something new, but not quite there yet We can feel disoriented or foggy, as we feel like we are in a new space, but waiting for the evidence to show up - this might show up physically in your body!
Lately I've experienced a big slow down in my work life. And it's been confusing! I have been doing so much work to release limiting beliefs, create supportive structures, move through fears and improve needed skills. I know I'm so much further ahead internally, and yet, externally, things seem like they haven't improved at all. And if it wasn't for this lesson I would be panicking quite a bit! It certainly feels quite confusing and disorienting right now - as if things aren't lining up in the way I'd expect them to! When we go through big changes, we call in a new manifestation. We bring new things our way that are aligned to this new person. But it takes time for these new things to show up - which is good! We need that time to adjust and make space for the new. There's a contraction before an expansion to help us prepare. This is the place to breathe, prepare, and trust that the timing is going to be perfect. So if you find yourself in a similar place right now, remember that if you're feeling disoriented, just be with it and trust that it will all line up in proper timing. Intense Acts of Power in Relationships With all the changes in relationships lately, there may be moments of intensity coming up There's a volcanic energy to it - but you don't need to fear it These moments can trigger repair and healing which are crucial to healthy relationships Trust that these moments are important and can help you see if your relationships are aligned
My wife and I don't fight often, but boy did we feel that volcanic energy last week! One of the hallmarks of healthy relationships is the ability to navigate rupture and repair. It's not a bad sign to fight - it's often how we can actually get all the way down to the truth that can hide underneath our consideration for each other's feelings. When the volcano erupts and everything is on the table, that's when we can often finally see clearly! The past few months have seen a lot of shakeups in our relationships, so it makes sense that there is some residual intensity still floating around. If you find yourself experiencing this in your relationships, don't be afraid! Make space to feel the intensity that is present, and then step into it with your heart (and not your ego!). Learning to repair is one of the key ingredients to long lasting positive relationships, so take this opportunity to brush up on those skills! |

Huge Heart Opening Moments You may experience moments of emotion that are breaking you open this month There may be big waves of grief along with feelings of deep connection and gratitude Events may occur that crack us open with grief You may notice that you are more in your heart than usual
Learning to allow our hearts to break open is such a valuable step on the path of growth. The intensity that we can experience when we really open ourselves up to the world can be overwhelming, and yet, the more we learn to hold it, the more we can hold all emotions and experiences more deeply. You might find yourself leading with your heart more this month, and feeling things intensely. Let yourself feel it! The more presence you can hold in these moments of big emotion, the more you allow yourself to shift and expand as a result. |

Deep Intuitive Hits You may now be gaining a deeper ability to connect to your intuition There may be big moments of clarity, awareness and intuition We are becoming less grounded in the old reality and shifting into a new one - this can be disorienting!
As we grow deeper in our ability to connect to our intuition, the way we experience the world will shift as well! We are collectively leveling up spirtually and this can also bring those feelings of disorientation this month. This month, pay attention to your ability to connect to your intuition. Take some time to feel and write about what you're experiencing to anchor it in. This is a great time to journal or freewrite! |

New Connections With Healthy Detachment New friend groups, partners & work relationships may be coming in due to all the space recently created We may also be approaching relationships differently - with a sense of healthy detachment The last couple of years have helped us learn to release expectations and attachments with grace and this is showing up in our lives now Others will also be experiencing this capacity, and will be more understanding if we need to pull away
When we shift who we are internally, the type of people who we are ready to invite in will also shift! You may notice a new type of person coming into your life now that aligns more with who you are becoming. And even more exciting: the way you experience these connections may feel different too. Attachment is a BIG topic, but at the core of it all is that we want to attach to others in a way that honours both ourselves and others as unique, individual humans. We have space to be ourselves, as well as space to connect. But if we have attachment wounds and trauma (as many of us do), this can be hard to do. Learning to connect in healthy ways, and also to disconnect from people who no longer align with us, is crucial if we want to experience relationships that are nourishing rather than draining. And this month you may feel like you're able to do this on a whole new level of capacity. I know I am! So enjoy noticing your new feelings and abilities around connections, and welcome in new people with that open heart and healthy detachment! |

Question of the Month: How Can You Give Your Mind A Break? As we can see, this month may feeling quite disorienting! We have gone through so many big shifts that we are still trying to process as new things start making their way toward us. Find your way to take breaks to unplug from the intensity and give your mind a rest! This can look like complete rest and silence - but if that feels challenging, even simple activities like taking a walk or reading an easy book can help. Remember: Rest is just as crucial as action on the path of growth! |

We've all been through some BIG changes lately, and we are starting to see the effects showing up in our lives in really positive ways! This can feel FUN and ENERGIZING! But! Remember to take some time this month to slow down, and recalibrate. Take stock of where you are aimed in all aspects of your life, and ensure that it's aligned with the new you that you are experiencing! Give yourself ample down time to keep anchoring these changes in through journaling or simple self-reflection.
