Help birds by leaving out natural nesting material, such as untreated wool, grass clippings, dead leaves, moss and twigs (avoid human and pet hair). Buy or make a hanging dispenser, repurpose a clean bird feeder, or drape materials over a tree or shrub. Create a muddy puddle to help house martins, song thrushes and blackbirds find wet mud for construction.
