Happy Newsletter Friday! Welcome to those of you who are reading this for the first time and welcome back to those returning!

THE POLL RESULTS:

Today we are experiencing a first with our newsletter poll. The winner is... IT IS A TIE! What does that mean? Well, I get to make the deciding vote (look, I don't make the rules). Let's look at the current results:

The tie is between Peppermint Mocha and DELICIOUS Hot Chocolate. As the deciding vote, I hereby doth declare that Hot Chocolate is the winner!! This feels right because this is right.

IN THE HEADLINES:

Are you tired of all the constant headlines popping up on your phones? Does the news sometimes ruin the day? Here is a place where you can find uplifting, fun, and good news from people in our own community. Keep looking to your own life headlines for a smile!

Featured Headlines:

  • "Took my New Kayak on the Scioto River!!"

OTHER NEWS:

It is the end of the year, can you believe it?! In just one week we will be entering 2021. Remember, just because the number changes from 20 to 21 doesn't mean it changes the circumstances we are under. This past year we have shown how strong we are but, we will need to continue to show that strength next year and every year following. Be proud that we got to this moment, I know I am. This year wasn't easy folks but, we did it!

I hope everyone has a great holiday season! Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas, or another holiday that you observe, I hope you were able to find safe, healthy ways to celebrate. The holiday season of giving, togetherness, and cheer might be coming to an end soon but, let's find ways to bring that sense of cheer throughout winter and the entire year. I can't wait to find ways to do that with all of you in the coming year. Have a Happy New Year and see you in 2021!

There will be no "Thoughts n' Things" posts or YouTube videos for the next two weeks. See you back here for the next newsletter on 1/8/2021!

Thank you for reading this and if this brought a smile to your day, feel free to forward it on and spread the cheer!

'Til next time,

...alex is out

Seasons Come and Go

"Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes, Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear" - Jonathan Larson It is that time of the year again, it is the end of December. The holidays came and went and up next is the New Year.

Nothing Like the Theatre

It has been almost 9 months since hundreds of people have been able to occupy the same space as each other. Theater, concerts, festivals, and more have not occurred and now I have been missing it more and more. Coming from a theater and live entertainment background, I knew it would be natural for me to miss it.
